JForms 0.6 RC 3 Released

JForms 0.6 RC 3 has been released today , the new version features a single mission critical bug fix

 

Changes from 0.6 RC 2

 

Bug fixes:

  • [Fixed] "Required" * does not display corrrectly ,See here
  • [Fixed] Some default values didn't work correctly "textbox field and date fields"

Installation:

Upgrading from 0.5:

  1. Backup your data.
  2. Uninstall 0.5
  3. Install 0.6 RC 3 (com_jforms_0.6_rc3_rev308.zip)
  4. Navigate to JForms control panel , from there click the "Upgrade Database to 0.6"

Upgrading from 0.6 Beta:

  1. Backup your data.
  2. Uninstall 0.6 Beta version
  3. Install 0.6 RC 3 (com_jforms_0.6_rc3_rev308.zip)

Upgrading from 0.6 RC1:

  1. Backup your data.
  2. Uninstall 0.6 RC 1 version
  3. Install 0.6 RC 3 (com_jforms_0.6_rc3_rev308.zip)

Upgrading from 0.6 RC2:

  1. Backup your data.
  2. Uninstall 0.6 RC 2 version
  3. Install 0.6 RC 3 (com_jforms_0.6_rc3_rev308.zip)

The release contains 2 files

I need to create a jform that is embedded in another jform to enable one to many relationship amongst tables, I however have not seen any straight forward implementation for this. Please i'd like you to help!

I am afraid that this is not yet possible in JForms, It is planned for the future , not in 0.6 nor 0.7 though.

Why not try to use Fabrik for this.
Can't find my form on select form

This is my first time on using jforms, I installed the main component (com_jforms_0.6_rc3_rev308.zip) and content plugin (plg_jforms_0.6_rc3_rev308.zip).

I've made a form successfully BUT why I can't find my form I've created on select form in menu setting?

Help me please.....
